Upon the Incapacity or death of a grantor, the successor trustee often engages attorneys to represent them in their role as trustee. The Trust Administration and Trust Settlement Process, while often more private and efficient than the Probate Settlement process, still requires the Trustee to handle tasks such as asset distribution, communication and coordination with CPAs, financial institutions, and beneficiaries. Trustees are tasked with carrying out the grantors wishes. The trust attorneys and team at Wiles McMichael have years of experience in helping Trustees throughout the Trust Administration Process.
